Alan Anderson talks to Toronto Star about working at home

Control of environment keeps stress at bay when working from home

Jewelry designer Alan Anderson’s trick is to wear shoes to help keep him in work mode, and even though his home contains his workspace, he shuns wearing track pants while on the job, too.

Exhibiting at JA New York - Spring 2016 at the Javits Centre, attended by thousands of buyers and exhibitors. An incredible response to our newest collection. Very proud to be a Canadian designer showing in New York.

Wedluxe "White Queen" cover and photo shoot on news stands now

Once again, Jewels by Alan Anderson was invited by Wedluxe to feature our bridal pieces. We are thrilled to be so prominently displayed both on the cover and throughout “The White Queen” fashion editorial. On the cover, the Queen flaunts a signature sautoir of a 1960's Lucite Grey Mauve Pearl surrounded by 1950's Swarovski Black Alaskan Diamond crystals and 1940's unfoiled Austrian crystals with a matching rigid cuff. “The White Queen” shoot, according to Wedluxe, was inspired by C.S. Lewis’ fantasy novel, “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe,” and displays our pieces in a dramatic way. We love the innovative use of our jewellery, especially our 'crystal flex' bracelet worn as a headpiece (page 230.)

Working with brides is a passion of ours and our jewellery adds an extra boldness to their “dream wedding look.” More of our collection can be found at Kleinfeld at Hudson’s Bay.
